Paola Grizi, an Italian Sculptor, can do an excellent job as to make each face of her terracotta sculptures can have individual expression of deep emotions. Sometimes they can reflect epiphanies of consciousness.
She grew her deep enthusiasm in art when she was still very young as she was observing her grandfather, who happened to be a painter and sculptor, working on his sculpture.
During her candid encounter with Arte magazine, she explains how a challenging event led her to create some incredible artwork. She had worked a long time in editorial field, but she got very little out of her job. Soon after she quit the job and did a less safe activity, only then her perseverance was eventually paid off.
As one of the leading artists in ceramics, Grizi has received appreciations of achievement. She got invited by Chinese Changchun Municipality to represent her country, Italy at an international ceramics symposium conducted in China. Previously, she won the 3rd Biannual International ceramics contest of Ascoli Piceno in 2014. And some of her collections are permanently exhibited in the city’s World Sculpture Park.
