Rolls of Newspaper into Realistic Animals

Chie Hitotsuyama is a Japanese artist behind those amazing paper sculptures. And to make it more amazing is that those sculptures are made out of newspaper. It’s so true that in Chie’s hand, the newspapers which normally serve as news media, they now have a whole different purpose.

As you can check out below, the Japanese could turn newspaper into incredibly realistic animal sculptures. She creates them by thickly rolling, twisting, and binding pieces of wet newspaper. And in order to improve the contour and gradations of her sculptures, she often has to use the colored print ones.

And it is very interesting to know that all of her sculptures are made entirely by hands.

What makes her creations so special is that all bad news normally there in papers can now be turned into something positive.
