As Ballymore Group CEO Sean Mulryan ever said, “I wanted to do something that had never been done before.” Now, what he had said really comes into reality. Just check out this glass “sky pool” hanging on this quite high building rising up 115 feet. Pretty scary, huh?
“My vision for the Sky Pool stemmed from a desire to push the boundaries in the capability of construction and engineering. The experience of the pool will be truly unique; it will feel like floating through the air in central London”
The Sky Pool’s transparent structure is the result of significant advancements in technologies over the last decade. Such a “sky pool” plan is really an ambitious project which made the entire glass hang from the tenth story above the ground. That makes it a real luxury of redifining the city of London.
The pool which measures of 25 by 5 meter by 3 meter deep will be made of 20 cm thick glass. This particular glass will act as a bridge connecting two apartment buildings located in the district of Nine Elms, London.
By 2018 buyers are supposed to be able to move in and its on-site construction begins this year.
