Beautiful Illustration Tells the Story of a Carpenter who Grieves His Deepest Love

illustrator Tom Booth tells a story in the form of stunning images. Whether it's in the form of a single picture or through a series of pictures, the story excels in their character design and their ability to make the figure convey emotions ranging from joy to sadness. Booth does this through a variety of media, but some of the most interesting work is created by drawing and painting in digital form.

While there are some details about timber workers at the moment, Booth applies his overall illustrative philosophy to the series, which is also carried over to other parts of his portfolio. "I am most inspired by illustrations that tell a story through thoughtful design," he told My Modern Met. "For much of my life, I have been pursuing illustration as a tool to communicate my ideas, but recently I explored its value as a means of self-expression, especially in terms of capturing emotions."

The latest illustration from Booth tells the story of a carpenter who apparently carved his lover from trees and other wooden blocks. His sadness for this person is very clear and makes the pictures sharp and often heartbreaking - even though we don't know the whole story yet. Booth is keeping mom about it because the illustrations are still under development. The only thing he said was "this is a story about losing someone he really loved."

Illustrator Tom Booth created digital art that tells a touching story.

His latest works revolve around carpenters who suffer losses, and his illustrations are poignant and often heartbreaking.
