Ray Collins, a photographer has been creating visual content by swimming in the oceans with his camera. Here's a rare collection of his recent works!
There are very few works of art that can completely convince the viewers that there is art all around us - in the air that we breathe, the sunlight we bathe in, and even the trees that dance in the wind. There is one such photographer who has been chasing waves in the ocean, swimming in the torrents of the massive waters bodies and taking breath-taking pictures!
Ray Collins, an Australian photographer, has been capturing waves in motion at some of the most stunning times which have been setting new benchmarks in photography. His recently published book- Water & Light has been in the makes for 3 years. In order to make this book, Collins had swum in Iceland's below freezing north Atlantic seas, sailed through the remote uninhabited island chains of the Indonesian archipelago, hung harnessed out of a doorless helicopter in Hawaii, documented a once in a decade Tahitian mega swell. The man has been on the mission to capture almost every stage of life, that is reflected in the motion of the water.
Here are some of his best shots that he has been sharing on his social media, which will make you ogle at the skill and the eye of the artist.
