If you explore deep in the woods in Estonia, there you can find this king-size wooden megaphones built by a bunch of interior architecture students. The bunch of students happens to be led by an architecture student called Birgit Õigus who is the author of the wonderful idea. Check out the way the giant megaphones look.
This particularly large-scale acoustic installation can actually amplify the sounds of the forest.
But what makes this installation interesting is that a delicate unique sound at the very centre is created by the sound which is fed from the three directions all because such objects are placed at a quite right angle and a distance.
Such installation is quite accessible and is free for either hikers or nature lovers to enjoy the beauty of these wooden megaphones which certainly blend the wilderness and the contemporary architectural space.
