"Googly-eyes", Turning a Damaged Path into a Funny by Vanyu Krastev

He also hopes that other people can add similar pleasures when they encounter damaged architecture or public facilities

Creative people are they who always have: "the creativity of everything". In their hands, anything can be transformed into "something" that is very interesting, as did this photographer. Sometimes, it only takes a pair of plastic toy eyes to change the condition of a damaged and dingy road to look more beautiful. That's what the Bulgarian photographer Vanyu Krastev did to change the street corners and damaged public facilities in his country. The technique he calls eye-bombing is done by adding a pair of plastic eyes to the damaged object.

For the past years, Krastev has done that. Bollards that are broken so that the broken pipe becomes the target of eyebombing. The result is voilà !, the damaged architecture turns into funny. And it was all documented in his blog, Eyebombing Bulgaria . "I bought some of these plastic eyes and decided to try them in Sofia, I didn't see anyone doing them before (in Bulgaria) and I left from there,"

He also hopes that other people can add similar pleasures when they encounter damaged architecture or public facilities. By adding a pair of plastic eyes in the right position, the gloomy facilities can turn out to be funny. "The more eyes stuck, in my opinion, the better. Even now I no longer need to hunt quickly around Sofia, because 'little creatures' seemed to suddenly come out around me," he added.
