When Darkness Is Portrayed Well It Can Haunt Your Soul

Most of us tend to keep our monsters hidden and locked away fearing what others might say, but what happens when you let them out?

The usual subjectivity that we associate with art tends to look for beauty and something that pleases our senses, it is natural. However, we are not unknown to the movements that seek to expose people to the kind of art that brings out our dark fears, even when they are not so beautiful. While looking at these dark works of art, try to reflect on the times when you were scared of your imagination and how you felt about it. Experience the works of artists who are making some of the most aesthetic works of horror:

1. Don't stare for too long
