31 years of age, Alex Noriega is an artist from Barcelona whose life sounds like a dream. Once living in a rough place, Noriega now lives in Taiwan reading, travelling and drawing quite often to sharpen his art skills. He decided to find a more decent office job to keep up with living costs, and he found one in fashion. Actually after he finished school in arts and illustration, he had to work as a janitor. This kind of job could give him much spare time to do freelance work.
He said, “I was depressed. I was feeling horrible about myself,” he looked back on the experience. So I tried to put, as simple as I could, what I had learned. Little lessons like be nice to people.”
On experimenting and blossoming as an artist, he says, “It feels right. It feels interesting.” The result is a comic series called Stuff No One Told Me, or SNOTM.
When people get to know him, he is someone whom people find him easy to fall in love with. That is especially his peculiar characters that look so funny.
