French artist, Louis Terrier is a painter as well as sculptor who creates these beautiful paintings of some characters taken from famous Japanese animation produced by Studio Ghibli (the animation house behind those famous movies like My Neighbor Totoro and Kiki’s Bakery).
In Terrier paintings of anime’s most beloved heroes, she would usually add her own creative talent to such anime. She is actually a real aficionado of The Annecy-based Miyazaki.
She says that she has scribbled since the day her parents gave her a pencil. And on her Facebook page, she mentioned that when people asked her about where her creative energy is from, she would say she had no idea, “But it’s just a part of me, like my nose in the middle of my face! Even though my studies take the most part of my time, the pleasure to paint never leaves me.” That was an awesome confession.
