If you pay close attention, there is electricity in Pikachu's cheek in Dunlop's illustration. How was Pikachu originally chosen to be Ash's first Pokémon?

In fact, initially, Pikachu was not the first choice, but the remaining choice because the other three choices had been taken by other Pokémon trainers.

The relationship between Ash and Pikachu was also not smooth, initially, Pikachu always electrocuted Ash before their close friendship became an icon in the world of pop culture.

Maybe this is one of the most popular Pokémon, although not owned by the main characters: Vaporeon. He has an elegant blue body, it can melt its body with water, and has fins and tails like mermaids.

#12 Psyduck

In the anime, Psyduck is a hilarious and troublesome Pokémon because he often wants to get out of Misty's Pokeball.

Psyduck actually has strong psychic powers, unfortunately it often makes him dizzy. That's why he always holds his head.

#13 Cubone

Cubtone is one of the most mysterious Pokémon figures. The skull that Cubone wore was the legacy of his deceased mother. Nobody knows what the real face of Cubone is. When he is lonely or crying for his mother, the skull used by Cubone will vibrate because he is crying.
