Shadows Give Illusion to Figures Walking on School Walls

There is something amazing about this street artist by the name of Anders Gjennestad, also known as Strøk, who is based in Norwegia. He was recently invited to join in the Memorie Urbane Street Art Festival in Terracina, Italy to show what he has in stocks.

Actually he is the one who painted a group of kids playing on either end of an elementary school building.

His contribution really makes the eyes of viewers won’t blink for even a second because those kids he painted really look as if they were really playing on the school wall.

He made photorealistic images to fool the eyes by using his sophisticated method of multi-layered templates. Due to the solid shadows, viewers can then misinterpret their perspective and start to believe the illusion that those kids are really walking up the walls.
