Stunning Sand Sculptures By Andoni Bastarika

People even praise the results of his artworks, where every curve and muscle of the horned animal looks like real

The sand that used to lie on the shoreline can turn out to be an amazing work of art. Of course, it takes a high ability to turn sand into work that makes people chuckle.

Through his cold hands, Artists from Basque, Spanish, Andoni Bastarrika was able to create several sand sculptures with quite intricate designs. And is known as an art worker who is able to turn a sand dune into ultra-realistic animal sculptures or hyper-realistic sculptures. Andoni is able to make it in detail and smooth. Even when viewed from a distance, these sculptures are like made of stone. The man who likes to explore with sand claims to have experimented with sand since 2010 with the aim to entertain children who visit the beach in their area.

Andoni has been able to entertain beach visitors near his native Basque Country for more than a decade. However, he only gained recognition and glances at the world after he recently carved a beach sand dune into a bull the size of a human.

For the matter of the time it takes to work differently, each statue he makes, as he told Bored Panda that the time needed to make one piece is very dependent on its size. The elephant, for example, takes 2 days for him to complete, while the horse and bison each take 12 hours. The dogs, which are smaller, need about 6 to 8 hours.

Andoni explained that when forming animals from sand, he more often carved them directly by hand, but for finer parts, he used other tools, such as brushes, sticks, and toothpicks. For more realistic results, he also often adds other trinkets or accessories, such as for the horns and nails. Not only works if there is a call or offer, but he also does not hesitate to give his knowledge to teach others how to sculpt sand.
