“I draw in order to make sense of landscape but also to construct and re model it. I build worlds and imaginary places that grow out of a need to interpret the sites that I have known, expanding and developing them across a page. This encompasses everything, from the visions of a grand landscape right down to the details of the land, the plants and creatures that may inhabit it.”
My name is Maxwell Tilse. I’m 23 years old from Sydney Australia. Now I’am living in London as a freelance illustrator. I have been travelling over the past year and have kept a diary in sketches. Here are some of my more detailed cityscapes. Each drawing is 5×5 inches in size and done with pen markers
“I am an Italian painter, who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. I live and work in Madrid. I realize my work with pen and ink on recycled wood. My work is inspired by nature and animal wisdom. The focus is on the connection and ancient knowledge of the animal kingdom, creating a visual dialogue between the painting and the viewer.”
One of artist illustrator using those colors is Nico Dauk. “I’ve been using gel pens as an art medium for years and cannot stop using them! My favorite pens are usually neon colors to make psychedelic art but I am starting to dabble with other color pens. I started out just doodling with them and once I started I couldn’t stop.”
Using only black pen, Alfred Basha illustrates the nature of animal world and human being, altered into a surrealistic space.
