Twitter users Shiromadara were walking around the festival area when they saw something that amazed them - wow ... a huge dragon! Don't worry - it's not Drogon missing from Game of Thrones. Turns out it was just a realistic dragon statue made from palm tree leaves and wood.
Shimadakara is an art festival held in the city of Uruma on the island of Okinawa in Japan from November 1 to 10. Artists and designers from all over Japan come to the festival to showcase their art, display everything from food art to grandma's giant balloon. And one piece of art almost gave the locals a heart attack that ended in a smile.
The dragon statue recently impressed one festival audience
According to the festival's Facebook post, the dragon statue is located near an old house overlooking the village as if to attack the village. The statue was suspended in the air, creating a movement effect when the wind blew.
Seeing this up close, it's easy to see why this huge dragon makes screaming at festival goers!
The artist James Doran-Webb made this dragon statue. If the giant dragon is yours, look at the amazing dragon statue made of driftwood.
