Very Cute Tiny Felt Animals By Russian Artist Anna Romanova

Felted wool is one type of handcrafting using needles and threads that already have enough fans. What are the main ingredients in felted wool? In addition to wool yarn, you will also need a special needle for felting, which is a type of needle with two sharp eye needles that will be used to poke wool yarn and form it into the desired object shape. The current work of felted wool is usually cute and adorable characters, such as animals or cartoon characters.

This is what Russian artist Anna Romanova has done by creating cute and amazing tiny toy sculptures of animal characters using felted wool. She started making this artwork 10 years ago, who has been creating adorable felt animals that fit in the palm of your hand since 2010. From there arose her enthusiasm and creative ideas for making felted wool art until now. Anna warns that she has seen many scammers pretending to sell their own works under the artist’s name and says that you can only purchase the real thing by contacting her on Facebook or Instagram. She now has 53.5k followers on her Instagram account.

In an interview with Bored Panda, that she started creating animals, she felt were hobbies and initially only made them for her friends. However, after the artist began to share photos of her artworks on Instagram, people really fell in love with small wool animals, so she started selling them.

To make these small animals, Anna uses sheep's wool and special felting needles. One toy can take between 5 and 14 days to complete, depending on the size and complexity. Anna doesn't like making copies of real animals, her toys have her own style. We can see it if we see the eyes. Indeed, an extraordinary work!
