Water-Activated Street Art

Rain doesn’t always represent sadness. Rain can gives you new hopes, a relieve after a draught, a new beginning of a life.

Rain can provokes you dancing under its pouring waters, or playing a laughter between its drops. At least that’s the objective of this Seattle-based street artist, Peregrine Church. He calls this series Rainworks. He uses hydrophobic coatings, which is non-toxic, non-permanent, only sometimes visible, and he doesn’t advertise anything. Based on his interview with Bored Panda, his motivation is only to make the world an interesting place to live in. To give people reason to be excited for rainy days.
