Synesthesian Artist Making Artwork Base of Music Response

Synesthesia artist Dillon James sees colors and patterns in his vision when he hears sounds. He has a type of synesthesia known as “Chromesthesia”. So, he has merged those colors with the faces of the people he’s painting. “I do all types of artwork, but people tend to want paintings of voices. I love being able to show people in my art what I see when I hear sound. It’s sharing of myself at the deepest level.”
